Accumulated Depreciation – Equipment
Accumulated depreciation – equipment is a contra account which accumulates the amount of depreciation charged on equipment since the date the equipment was acquired by the company for business use. The said account will have a credit balance which will be netted against the cost of equipment when being reported in company’s balance sheet.
